Much to my horror as a cake baker, my oldest child hates frosting! He did not want a cake or cupcakes for his class party or home party this year, when he turned 8. He asked if I would make sugar cookies for his 2nd grade class instead. He wanted a Pokemon theme, so I just cut out circles and iced them to look like Pok-e-Balls using powdered sugar glaze in red, black, and white. He was thrilled with how they looked and tasted and said the class loved them...something a little different from the usual cupcakes. What's wrong with these children? Everyone knows cupcakes are the most wonderful thing in the world :)
