A few weeks ago I was asked to make this cake for my son's soccer coach who is an orthodontist. They were having an open house to show off his new office to the community and the mayor came out for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Dr. Chartier is young and has an easygoing, fun personality, so I suggested we design a novelty cake like this huge smile with braces. The cake itself wasn't cut during the event, so I made these cupcakes and used a cupcake wrapper template to create the wrappers using cardstock in the colors of their practice's logo.
